Who Should Not Call the Woodoombu Intake Line
A pre-call eligibility filter — read this before dialing.
Quick Summary
The intake line exists to help — but it cannot help everyone. Do not call if any of the following apply to your situation:
- You already have legal representation for this accident
- The accident occurred outside California
- No person was physically injured
- Your primary need is legal advice or a case evaluation
- A lawsuit related to this accident is already in progress
The Structured Intake Protocol screens every submission against defined eligibility criteria. Callers who do not meet those criteria will not advance through the intake process. This page helps potential callers identify their situation before calling — saving time for everyone.
You Already Have Legal Representation for This Accident
If an attorney is already representing you in connection with the accident you intend to report, do not call the intake line. The intake eligibility criteria include a mandatory requirement: the caller must not have existing legal representation for the incident at the time of submission.
This criterion applies if you have:
- Signed a retainer agreement with a personal injury attorney for this accident
- Retained counsel through a legal referral service for this specific incident
- An attorney who is actively advising you on this accident claim
If you have an attorney: Direct all questions about your accident and claim to your legal representative. Woodoombu Accident Leads cannot process your submission and will not be able to assist.
Note: Having unrelated legal representation — for a different legal matter, a different attorney unconnected to this incident, or general legal counsel on other affairs — does not affect eligibility for this submission.
Your Accident Did Not Occur in California
The intake line accepts recorded statements exclusively about accidents that occurred within the state of California. This is not a preference — it is the geographic boundary of the service. Accidents in Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, or any other state are not eligible and will not be processed, regardless of:
- The caller's California residency
- The other party's California residency
- Whether the caller is calling from within California
The geographic restriction is a firm operational limit. Woodoombu Accident Leads does not operate intake services for any state other than California.
No Person Was Physically Injured
The intake line is designed for personal injury accident documentation. "Personal injury" means physical bodily harm sustained by a person as a direct result of an accident. Incidents that resulted only in property damage — without any person sustaining physical injuries — are outside the scope of intake eligibility.
Incidents that do not qualify (property damage only, no personal injury):
- A vehicle collision where no one was hurt but significant vehicle damage occurred
- A slip on a wet floor where the person fell but was not injured
- Damage to a fence, mailbox, or structure by a third party
Incidents that do qualify (personal injury present):
- A vehicle collision where a driver, passenger, cyclist, or pedestrian sustained physical injuries
- A slip-and-fall that resulted in back pain, bruising, broken bones, or other bodily injury
- A workplace accident in which an employee or contractor sustained physical harm
Self-reported injuries are accepted. Medical documentation is not required at the intake stage; callers do not need a doctor's report before calling.
You Are Seeking Legal Advice or a Case Evaluation
Woodoombu Accident Leads is not a law firm. There is no attorney on the other end of the intake line. The service documents accident details and screens submissions against defined criteria — it does not:
- Evaluate the strength or viability of a legal claim
- Advise on legal strategy or expected outcomes
- Recommend whether to pursue litigation
- Interpret insurance policies or legal documents
- Provide any form of legal counsel
If you need legal advice, contact a licensed California personal injury attorney. The California State Bar Lawyer Referral Service connects callers with certified lawyers and is free to use for the initial referral.
Your Accident Claim Is Already in Active Litigation
If a lawsuit has already been filed in connection with the accident you want to report, do not call the intake line. Active litigation assumes that legal representation is either already in place or that the matter is being handled through the court system. Submissions related to matters already in active litigation will not pass intake eligibility screening.
If you are uncertain whether your matter has entered active litigation, consult your attorney or review any court documents you have received.
The Incident Is a Commercial Dispute Without Personal Injury
Disputes arising from commercial contracts, business-to-business property damage, fleet vehicle incidents with no injured persons, or insurance coverage disputes without a personal injury component are outside the scope of intake eligibility. The qualifying test is whether a person sustained bodily injury as a result of an accident.
Commercial incidents where an employee or contractor was physically injured as part of the incident may qualify as workplace accident submissions. See California accident types accepted for intake.
